The Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) is a duly registered non-stock, non-profit mutual benefit fund association, organized to provide insurance protection, and financial and material aid to its members.  

PSMBFI is committed to provide life insurance protection for law enforcers, as they go out in the streets to fight crime, insurgency, and terrorism.  The Fund helps sustain the needs of policemen and policewomen through credit facilities payable at the most convenient terms.  

PSMBFI exists to enhance the morale and welfare of its members.  When the unfortunate happens, PSMBFI gives cash advance on insurance claims with only minimal requirements to help pay the funeral and burial expenses.  Once all the requirements are completed, the full amount of insurance claims is immediately processed.  The amount may not alleviate the pain of those left behind, but it will at least aid them to move on.

PSMBFI has a strong membership base composed of the uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP), and public safety practitioners from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Department of Transportation and Communication.  The new PO1 recruits and lateral entrants become members of PSMBFI immediately after the have filled-out, signed, and submitted their Membership Application Form (MAF) and Authority to Deduct.    

Today, PSMBFI stands tall and proud among the most secured, stable, and dependable insurance providers and mutual benefit associations.  The Fund provides the basic needs of its members and fulfills its Corporate Social Responsibility Programs.

PSMBFI also maintains a dynamic partnership with the PNP as it supports the Integrated Transformation Program geared to revitalized and bring back the dignity of the police.
