Membership with PSMBFI is open to all uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the PNP and other public safety practitioners.
Presently, the membership of PSMBFI is composed of the:

• PNP uniformed and non-uniformed personnel
• BFP personnel
• NAPOLCOM personnel
• DILG personnel
• DOTC personnel
• PNP retirees (uniformed and non-uniformed) who opted to continue their Equity Plan membership
• PSMBFI employees

Premium payment
For those in the active service, insurance premiums are paid through automatic salary deduction.
For those retiring from the service and wants to continue their PSMBFI membership, they may
get in touch with the Insurance Department at (02) 725-4725, or the Regional Extension Officers
(REO)
