President's message

Looking forward to better days

The year 2011 was good, but for one reason or another, we did not realize all that we set to accomplish. While most of the computerized systems are already being used in operations, the debugging of the programs is taking more time than what we have expected. On the other hand, we were only able to barely start our data reconciliation project as the preparation of its terms of reference for outsourcing has taken us a considerable time.

The year 2012 promises to be a better year as we expect to finally finish most of the IT projects designed to streamline our various processes and ensure fast access to accurate data. By the end of this coming year, with a reliable database having been set up and the necessary IT infrastructure in place, we expect to further reduce our processing time and hasten members’ transactions.

We shall continue efforts to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness, and to find the best use of funds and resources.

Knowing that a solid membership base is a prerequisite for PSMBFI’s long term sustainability, we shall work harder to strengthen our members’ loyalty, trust, and sense of belonging. We will continue to work to become more responsive to the needs of our members and push for increase in their benefits.

We intend to make 2012 a turning point in bringing better days to our members.

Mabuhay ang PSMBFI, sa atin po ito!
